I am a Yellowknife-based yoga teacher with a deep love for movement, the North, and making yoga feel less intimidating and a lot more fun. I’m a Yoga Alliance RYT200 certified teacher, and I believe that yoga is for every body — no flexibility required, no experience necessary, just a willingness to show up and breathe.
When I’m not on the mat, you’ll probably find me running. I’m also a certified marathon running coach, and that endurance mindset sneaks into my teaching more than you might expect — I’m a big believer in building a practice steadily, honouring where you are today, and trusting the process.
I started Amy Kennedy Yoga because I wanted offer classes that encouraged people to come as they are, move in ways that feel good, and leave feeling a little more at home in their bodies. Whether you’re brand new to yoga or finding your way back to the mat, I’m really glad you’re here.
